Nail Polish!
So lately my new obsession has been Nail Polish! Can't seem to get enough! I was lucky enough to place an order through Zoya (artofbeauty.com) during the free polish promo! I got two polishes from their new Matte line and I'm excited to try them! Can't wait to get my order!
Here are the polishes I've ordered:
The bottom row: Mint Mojito, Breathe Life and the 4 polishes from the China Glaze Retro Diva collection (Let's Groove, Short & Sassy, Stella and Skate Night) were ordered through 8ty8beauty.com. I've ordered from their website one other time and it took 2 weeks from the time I placed the order, to receive it. This time around it took 4 emails and 2 weeks just to send out my order!! So by the time I get my order it will be 3 weeks! Their website says they ship out next business day. Pffft yeah right. Their customer service department seems to be nonexistent. I wonder if anyone else has ever had a slow shipment problem with this company. But I guess I can't complain with their polishes being in the $3 dollar range...can't beat that!

My first post! Here's a little Q and A...

SKINCARE
-How many times do you wash your face daily? Twice, morning and night.
-What skin type do you have? (dry,oily,combo) I have oily acne prone skin.
-What is your current facial wash? Makeup Dissolving Foaming Cleanser by Clean and Clear to remove makeup and then I alternate between St. Ives Blemish & Blackhead Control Apricot Face Wash and Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask
-Do you exfoliate? Yes.
-What brand do you use? St. Ives Blemish and Blackhead Apricot Face Wash (it has exfoliating microbeads in it!)
-Is it really important to moisturize? Yes!
-How often do you moisturize your face? Once in the morning after I wash my face and before I do my makeup and at night after I wash my face.
-What moisturizer do you use? In the morning I use Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 15 and at night I use Pond’s Oil Free Cold Cream.
-Do you use sunscreen? It's in my moisturizer and in my foundation.
-What is your favorite skincare line? I haven't found a really good one yet, but I'm still searching!
-Do you have regular facial treatments? I'm actually an Esthetician, so I do a really good deep pore cleansing at home once a week.
-Do you have freckles? None on my face.
-Do you spray water on your face during summer? No.
-Do you use eye cream? Yes, L'Oreal Advanced RevitaLift Eye Cream
-Do you or did you have acne prone skin? Yes, I currently have acne prone skin.
-Did you ever have to use Pro-activ? I have used it and it didn’t work for me and it was too expensive.
-One skincare routine that is a MUST for you? A deep cleaning of course!
-Why do you think we should take care of our skin? Because it’s the first thing people see!
MAKE-UP
-What foundation do you use? BareMinerals
-How about concealer? I use Essence Forget it! 3-in-1 Concealer and Ulta Incognito Concealer.
-Do you know your undertone color? Warm. My skin definitely has a yellow/olive undertone.
-What do you think of fake eyelashes? I love them! They can really make the look!
-Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months? Yes I do!
-What brand of mascara do you use? I love Stila's Lash Visor, but right now I'm using Rimmel's MAX Volume Flash Mascara
-Sephora or Ulta? Both!
-Do you have a MAC Pro-card? I'm anxiously awaiting MAC to approve my application for a PRO card!
-What makeup tools do you use in make up application? Brushes and an eyelash curler.
-Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes? Yes, Urban Decay Primer Potion.
-For the face? Yes Sephora's Face Primer
-What is your favorite highlight powder? It's an Ulta eyeshadow called Naked. It's perfect!
-What is your favorite eye shadow (color or shade)? I can’t pick a favorite, but I love my Coastal Scents pallets! They’re so versatile!
-Do you line your eyes? Yes.
-Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner? Pencil on the bottom, liquid on the top.
-How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil? Never.
-What do you think of pigment eyeshadows? Used with a mixing medium they can be applied beautifully! The color pay-off is awesome!
-Do you use mineral makeup? Yes, my foundation!
-What is your favorite lipstick? Airy Fairy from Rimmel.
-How about lipgloss? I love my NYX lip glosses.
-What blush on do you use? A NARS Orgasm dupe from e.l.f.
-Do you buy your makeup on ebay? Never have.
-Do you like drugstore makeup? Love it.
-Do you go to CCO's? (cosmetic company outlets) No, the closest outlet is over an hour away.
-Did you ever consider taking make-up classes? I’m an Esthetician!
-Are you clumsy in putting on makeup? Nope.
-Name a makeup crime that you hate? “Jizz Lips”, white eye shadow and too-winged out black eyeliner(like Amy Winehouse!).
-Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick,eyeshadow) or neutral ones? Both! Depends on where I’m going or what I’m wearing.
-Can you share a make up trick that you know? If you get mascara on your skin, don’t rub it off right away! Wait a few seconds for it to dry and then use a cotton swab and “roll” it off. It shouldn’t effect the makeup underneath!
-Can you make a "cat eye" wing? Yes, but I really don’t like it.
-If you had to leave the house using just ONE make up item, what would you use? Brow powder.
-Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on? I could, but I don’t want to!
-Do you think you look good even without any makeup on? No I don’t.
-In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line? Loving Smashbox lately
-Would you ever consider permanent makeup? Thinking about filling in my brows permanently!
